Hey loves! So I am loving life because it's finally starting to feel like fall, I'm not sure where in the world you're reading this from, but it's been so darn hot here on the east coast. Like so unbearably hot. This weekend was the first weekend where it truly felt like the season of comfort has finally entered the building.

This weekend, Anthony and I went apple picking and it has been quite the adventure to check this item off of the Fall Bucket List. We've tried and failed two times before we found our new favorite fall spot. These failures were due to the rain, and a poorly advertised Cape Cod farm that said they had apple picking when they in fact did not. However, we persisted and the third time was a charm.

Thank goodness for the beautiful Lyman Orchards which was located in a little Connecticut haven town surrounded by sprawling hills of golden, red, and yellow-leaved trees. Look to your right and see a hilltop speckled with orange globs, or soon-to-be picked pumpkins. One look to your left for acres of apple tree rows as far as the eye can see. Breath in the cool air and smell burning wood and kindling from a nearby living room fire. Ah, fall.
 

In addition to a little weekend update, I've put together a little bucket list to map out all of the things I intend on checking off during the season and my hope is that this post inspires you to channel your inner hygge (pronounced hoo-gah). I know you're not surprised it's food-centric.


My Fall Bucket List:

To eat: 

• Apple cider donuts
• Brie with baguette from Antique Bakery
• Pesto and jalepeno torte
• Everything I make 😋
• Carmel apple

To cook:
